What we Do
We sell UltimaCalc, a mathematical toolkit for working on a whole range of problems. The original heart of this product was a powerful, very high precision mathematical expression evaluator.
Later we added a symbolic algebra module. Instead of calculating numeric values, this focuses on manipulating algebraic expressions. So you can simplify algebraic expressions, or do calculus with it, for example.

Polynomial root finder. This is a new product, in its final stages before release. One big problem in finding the roots of polynomials is that they can be extremely sensitive to the values of the polynomial's coefficients. Small errors in calculation can throw the results out a very long way.
Our product therefore works to an extremely high precision - hundreds of digits. It includes an algebraic polynomial factoriser. Given a polynomial whose coefficients are integers or fractions, its factors can be found exactly. For more info, go to the polynomial root finder's own page.
Product reviews. We spend a lot of time testing our own products. We try to do a really good job. So, when we look at the products some people are hoping to sell, we are quite often appalled.
Recently I looked at a product that was advertised as working on Vista - but the Help does not open, being in an incompatible format. Even the program installation seemed to be problematic. It was advertised as working on Vista, but clearly it had never actually been tested on Vista!
