PolyRoots the Polynomial Pulveriser

Beat those pesky polynomials!

Calculate the roots of a polynomial up to 14th order.

Factorise a polynomial. If it can be factorised, PolyRoots will find its factors.

The picture shows a particularly nasty calculation to perform. Nasty because one root repeats six times. And all fourteen roots are very close together, as the factorisation shows.

Most of the coefficients are so large that they are too long to be seen in full. Yet PolyRoots works to such high precision that coefficients of 30 digits or more are no problem to it.

The results are shown to a precision of 16 digits. Yet all of the calculated roots are shown as integers. (You can take our word for it that the two roots scrolled off the window are also integers.)
